After many years of regularly exhibiting at The Furniture Show (now Interiors Birmingham), The Spring Fair and The Autumn Fair we took a long hard look at the finances and practicalities of these exhibitions and decided, for us, the return was no longer worth the outlay. We found every year prices for every aspect of the exhibitions were increasing while footfall and the return on our investment were diminishing.

So our main point of contact with customers is now through our website where we showcase our full range of wholesale home accessories, our blog and through face to face visits from our sales agents. We have found this enables us to devote more energy to keeping our website as up to date as possible. All new items appear within a day or two of them arriving and we only show wholesale shabby chic gifts and furnishings which are in stock now. This means customers can place their order and receive all their goods within 4 or 5 working days, a far cry from competitor websites which show lots of out of stock items with long lead times.

If you have visited Autumn Fair and placed orders, only to be told after the exhibition there are long lead times for your goods we would suggest you take a look around our site to order goods which can be delivered and on your shop floor in less than a week. Don’t cancel your existing order but if you need stock quickly to sell while you wait for your Autumn Fair delivery, Scarthingwell is the place to buy giftware and accessories for immediate delivery.

We have new deliveries of stock arriving regularly between now and Christmas so do remember to check back regularly, or better still register for our regular emails advising when new stock is available.

The pre Christmas trading period is an incredibly important time for small and independent retailers and stock availability can make a huge difference to the purchasing decisions made by businesses planning for this time. With this in mind we keep our website as accurate and up to date with our current stock availability as we can to ensure our customers can plan and purchase to suit their needs.
 
We have several delivery options available and this combined with no minimum order value or minimum order quantity makes us one of the most accommodating and flexible wholesalers in the UK.

So if you didn’t find all you wanted at the Autumn Fair, your order may not be delivered before Christmas or you simply need some new, fresh lines take a look at our wholesale accessories and giftware or come and visit us at our cash and carry warehouse in North Yorkshire.

Antique cream painted clothing rail

One of our most popular lines is the ET715 antique cream painted clothing rail. We have supplied this item for several years now and its popularity does not seem to decline. This could be due to its practical nature and robust construction, it is not just a decorative item but actually serves a useful purpose.

Whatever the reasons I would reccomend if you have not tried one of these you add one on to your next order with us. The vast majority of sales for these rails are to repeat customers which I think is testament to their retail saleability.

Antique cream clothes rail

The ship is due to dock on 24th November and they should be delivered to us around 29th November. These will arrive just in time for the busy Christmas period and it is advisable to place your orders soon to ensure delivery in time to make the most of the festive selling period.

New lines include hat and coat stands, clothes rails, clocks and hooks.

Also we are now only showing products we have in stock, making it much easier to reach minimum order for free delivery without having to wait for out of stock items to be delivered. It’s possible to order in the morning and have your delivery two days later.

We are approximately 40 minutes drive from the exhibition halls and you can place an order for delivery or cash and carry. Cash and carry customers receive a 10% discount off their order.

New items will be added to the website next week, including wholesale hooks, wholesale wall art and wholesale garden accessories. When this is done we’ll send a newsletter to everyone subscribed to the email list.

These items are so new we haven’t photographed them yet! So after the weekend we’ll get out the camera and start taking pictures. They should be available to view on our wholesale website from Wednesday onwards.
