Wholesale Home Accessories

As many of our customers now know, we are not exhibiting at either Interiors Birmingham 2010 or Spring Fair 2010 at the NEC.

Having seen visitor numbers dwindle over the past few years at these events we decided we would take a look at our marketing strategy for 2010 and try some new ideas.

We will be visiting more of our customers who would like to see us this year and we will be visiting more frequently with new more up to date catalogues.

We will also be holding events at our showrooms at Scarthingwell during the year where you can visit and see our new lines ‘in the flesh’ and finally we will be making some further improvements to our website.

 RSS is great if you know how to use it, even better if your customers know.

Most of our customers who use the web will use only a fraction of its capabilities, I would like to show them all today how to use just a little bit more. RSS is a way for websites to let you know when new content has been added to them. I would like all our customers to use our RSS feed to keep them up to date with the latest news and information from Scarthingwell Replicas.

First you need to be reading this page, next follow each instruction as we go along and you will reap all the benefits of subscribing to our feed.

1. Click on the little button in the toolbar at the top of the page.

2. Click on the RSS 2.0 link

3. Click on ’subscribe to feed’.

4. That’s it ! Now go to ‘Favourites’ and click on the ‘feeds’ tab and you will see ‘Wholesale Home Accessories’ towards the end of the list. When new items are detected on our blog this will show up in bold.

5. Now all you need do is go to the feeds tab in ‘favourites’ each day and if Wholesale Home Accessories shows up in bold, click on it and read the latest news from Scarthingwell.

Do this with all your favourite sites and its easy to keep up to date with whatever interests you.

As it’s getting very close to Christmas now I’m sure most of our customers are more interested in selling than they are in buying.

However business doesn’t end on Christmas Eve so here are some new items for you to consider in the New Year.

Although these have arrived a little later than we had anticipated there is still just time to order some of our newest items for delivery before Christmas.

They are not only suitable as Christmas decorations but would obviously make a fine addition to any festive dining table!

We have some new designs coming in of our ever popular umbrella stands.

These are currently due to arrive around 16th November and are now available to pre order via our wholesale home accessories website.

 In the run up to Christmas we have some new products arriving which we think may be of interest to our customers. As we did not exhibit at the Autumn Fair in Birmingham we need to show our newest ranges off in other ways. We will be presenting them here on the blog and they will appear on the front page of our website at the bottom as they are added to our catalogue.

We will also send out some newsletters although we realise not everyone likes to get these so those customers who have opted out of receiving our newsletters will have to remember to keep checking back to see when new products have been added.

We would like to take this opportunity to make all our customers aware of a number of product discrepancies that have arisen.  Three popular bathroom items have been delivered to us in the wrong paint colour, coming into us in black rather than cream painted.  Please see details below for the items affected and their corresponding new product codes:
